Pulpotomy

Junior&Family Dental Clinics dentists recommend pulpotomy for temporary teeth or for young permanent teeth, with tooth roots in the process of forming and showing incipient pulpal diseases, as well as in cases where direct dressing is indicated, but it cannot be done due to anatomy and the unfavorable position of the tooth.

Through the pulpotomy procedure:

• the infected dental pulp is removed from the level of the crown;
• the tooth is given the chance to develop completely, by keeping the pulp in the root canals;
• the pain and mobility of the tooth disappear;
• periodic radiological controls are required to follow the evolution of the tooth for several years.
